Bareboat Charters
Ideal for qualified skippers who want to set sail on their own.
These individuals will appreciate that at Island Cruising, the term "bareboat" means anything but "bare". Our safety gear, navigation equipment and operating equipment far exceed that supplied by other charter companies.
Board at 10:00am on boarding day for a comprehensive yacht orientation and be ready to set sail that afternoon. We want to make this the BEST charter you have ever had. For more details, please see our fleet info page and charter prices.
Skippered Charters
An option for those with little or no sailing experience in coastal waters.
Let an experienced Island Cruising skipper assume responsibility for the yacht and provide the guidance to ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone on board. Participate in sailing as much or as little as you like. Our skippers are certified instructors with their love of the sea exceeded only by their love of teaching. With an experienced skipper on board to guide you to the most beautiful islands and the best sailing, you'll receive the maximum amount of fun and adventure during your sailing vacation. Please note: We cannot offer skippered charters into the USA due to the restriction of the Jones Act.
Corporate Sailing
Our Corporate Sailing programs are custom made offering everything from informal group getaways to more structured team development experiences. The common threads are luxury, comfort, professional service and front row sunset seats.
Sailing is one of the most successful vehicles for team training and development. Not unlike a business, individuals of various skills are required to bind as a unit in order to function effectively.
Team Building
Your company's success depends on team effort. Keep your competitive edge by empowering management and employees with new skills and collective motivation. Build confidence and encourage communication.
Facilitated by experienced instructors, the focus will be on participating in sailing the yacht, safety, navigation and, if you charter more than one yacht, maybe a little competitive spirit.
Social Team Sailing
Take a more informal approach. Strengthen the bonds within your group through cooperation and communication. Combine casual instruction or networking with some fresh air and see where it takes you.
Retreats
Why not let the scenery do all the work? Get involved or sit back and relax. Leave the work behind, and set your sights on more important things: a golf game, a tour of the local wineries, or the gruelling task of deciding whether it will be fresh crab or salmon for dinner.
